General Information You are looking at 10 different full and oversize caskets just choose the 1 you like. However, these units are in limited supply.  The caskets are well built, so quality is not an issue. The standard size caskets are made from 20 gauge steel.  The OVERSIZED Caskets are made from 18 gauge steel, which is slightly thicker. I am a Licenced Funeral Director and have been working in the funeral industry for over 15 years.  The Funeral Home where I work uses these caskets.  Some of these caskets are the most popular ones.  I will not sell a casket to be used at a Funeral Home that currently purchses from me.  Your rights as a consumer Shipping a casket to a funeral home. Part 453)   Colors and Interior of the Caskets The color selection is what you see each picture. There are 10 casket styles to choose from.  Each style comes in it's own color. The interior color of each casket is listed in the picture of each casket as well.  All of the interiors are lined with crepe material.  The picture will also note if there is any shading and the color of the shading.   The hinge on the casket If you open the lid, it will lock open... to close the lid, you need to push the lid further open and push in on the hinge at the same time, while keeping pressure on the hinge pull the lid closed.  This is a further sign of a quality build casket. This tray is designed to protect your casket from damage in shipping.  Before I started using these trays 15% of my caskets were getting damaged in shipping. INFORMATION NEEDED FOR A FREIGHT (TRUCKING) SHIPPING QUOTE : 1.  Shipping to: a Business or Residence? (the following is not considered a business: Farm, Church, Home Business, School or Limited Access Business. This is the ruling of the trucking companies. I do not agree with it but it is their ruling.) A business is less expensive to ship to. 2.  If a Business do you have a loading dock or forklift. If yes, it is less expensive to ship. 3.  Do you need a truck with a lift gate? The weight with the casket/packing material and shipping tray is 220 pounds.  I load it with the help of the truck driver. Two average size guys should have no problem unloading. NO Lift Gate is less expensive. 4.  The ZIP CODE were the shipment is going. 5.  Do you require a call before the casket is delivered from the trucking company? No is less expensive 6.  Dose the driver need to unload and bring the item into the business or residence?  If no it is less expensive.  I have found paying two guys $20.00 each to do this for you can save you about $150.00 INFORMATION NEEDED FOR AN AIR CARGO SHIPPING QUOTE: 1.  I currnetly ship Delta Airlines only. 2.  Name of the airport you would like to pick up from.
