' Description I'm a U.S. Army Veteran from the VietNam Era.  I make all my rosaries by hand...one rosary at a time. NEW and hand-assembled (by me) Rosary - The beads are JOB'S TEARS.  By nature, every Job's Tears bead is unique. They differ in size, shape and color.  The following is a brief history about "Job's Tears": They are called "Coix lacryma-jobi" in botanical nomenclature. That is the Latin way of saying "Job's Tears." They are the product of an annual grass that produces a fruit shaped like a tear drop. Since no one shed more tears than the Biblical Job, its name was secured. An alternate name, used by some Catholic rosary makers is "Mary's Tears."
