Published by The American Historical Society of New York, the hand-colored cover page itself is a work of art.  The book measures about 14" high, about 11" wide and 3 1/4" thick, weighing in pre-packaging at 9-10 pounds.  The cover shows a lot of edge wear but is still quite intact as we'd guess the book was held by the Loring family from the year it was compiled.Biographies, some Heraldry (coat-of-arms), Pictures and other quality materials cover on the order of some 90 Family Names that'll we'll try to list as thoroughly as we can.
