I have untill July 31st, 2008 to come up with close to $5,000.00 or I could lose my home. I am in pre-forclosure status, and On July 31,2008 they will begin forclosure. I work for Hospice, and I recentley lost 2 patients.And my 40 hr work week went down to 20. Since Hospice is non-profit, they are trying to keep me at 20 because of lack of funding. I have recentley took on a 2nd job to help but I will never come up with what I need just using paychecks. My husband has worked for the same company for 6 years. he works over an hour and 1/2 away, 10 hour days. By the time you add in driving time he is gone for about 14 hours a day. it is hard for him to find a part time job because he gets home at about 6 pm and gets up for work at 3:30 am  He was a corrections officer before that. But he became injured and required six operations before his knee was finally better, the last one being a knee replacement. he was out of work for over 2 years. I don't live in this big fancy house. It's just a basic bi-level, built in 1987. We've been here for 8 years. I don't want people to read this and think I am doing this because we living beyond our means. believe me we are not. I have 2 children 14 & 12 and if we lose this house we will have nowhere to go. Renting isn't even an option because of security and deposits. I wouldn't even have that.
