Fisher.  Mr. Fisher purchased Mel from the original carver in Brazil.He was hand cut, carved & polished in Minas Gerais, Brazil by a master craftsman in the late 1950's or early 1960's before the advent of machine tools(at least in Brazil.)  This fact has been verified by me through observation under magnification where the tooling and polishing marks are obviously made by hand tools.  I doubt you will EVER find another skull like Mel, I have searched for 3 years now and have not found ANY hand carved skulls, large or small for sale at any price.
